Okay, the actual win happened well after midnight putting it at October 18th…but it was the evening of Sunday, October 17, 2004 that game 4 of the 2004 ALCS began…and with it began a completely new era for the Red Sox and their fans.

I came across this video on You Tube…all it shows are the reactions of the fans…the entire park, after David Ortiz hit his game-winning home run.  I’ve watched it many times and it never gets old.

Thank you Red Sox!  (clap clap clap clap clap)

    Happy 6th Anniversary, indeed.
