Red Sox Chick/Toeing the Rubber

Because you always need a backup plan

And I’ll die a whole lot harder if it comes to where I have to

Red Sox, Marathon, Playoff Hockey…it’s quite a day for sports in Boston! Happy Patriots’ Day!

I’ll be at Fenway today (starting early…heck, I’m leaving the house at 7am) and I have a friend running the marathon for the first time (shout out to Ellen Goldberg!  Kick some ass, woman!)…there’s a lot to enjoy about today which means I’m going to forget about yesterday (and the rest of this God-awful Red Sox weekend) and focus on the now.

John Lackey is on the mound at 11:05am and I have faith he won’t disappoint.

Enjoy the day, folks!  I’ll be back here tonight with a wrap up!

    • She DID finish with a time of 4:54:57! (I’m impressed! Not too shabby for a 41 year-old mother of two, huh?)
